Just loved this walk, really want to return again & again. Maybe walk for several hours along this beautiful, easy grade, railway trail. Would be a great trail for a novice who wants mountain bike or cross bike. Riding a horse along the trail itself would be amazing, though I'd probably take a alternate route from the parking lot to bypass the tunnels & bridge's.

Exploring the tunnels, bridges & gorge was exhilarating. We walked blindly through the tunnels, a flashlight or headlamp would be a advisable for those who have coordination issues like me. Definitely worth the effort to visit.

Beautiful scenery as well as an important part of Western history. U just feel different kind of relaxation walking through one of the best nature and man made wonders. So much greenery and the freshness of the air. The sound of the river bouncing off the canyon just makes the best no instrument music ever. I can literally spend all day there jus exploring woods and water and just listen to the water and nature's sounds. Simply just love it!!!

The tunnels are really cool to walk through and you can (if you're adventurous enough) bike to the park from Downtown Hope! The river rapids, bridges, tunnels and even access to calm areas of the river male this place great for any group of any age and size! It's also totally free so if you're looking for a nice walk or a place to coll off in the summer and maybe even watch salmon swim up the river, this is a great place for you to go

An amazing tourist attraction with breathtaking natural views and man-made wonder. There are several huge tunnels that used to host railroad. Canyons with rapid current. Free parking and free admission. But go as early as possible to secure a parking space for whole day activities. Make sure to bring a flashlight as some tunnel are long and peach dark.

Beautiful place! Originally came to get a couple pictures for my community website but ended up taking like 100 just because it was so amazing to see everything. The rushing waters between the massive rock walls, the dark tunnels with something majestic about them when your eyes adjusted, the waterfalls and all the nature and greenery you could imagine. It was a nice walk up and back the views were well worth it. Got some amazing shots!!
